Big Daddy 3: Arrows and daggers

Finally! Woohoo with someone else besides Mercedes and in the bed. I think this is Salina Moon, one of the food vendors at the park. I'm thinking it might've been Karen, but I don't have anything written down.

This is Salina Moon sans crazy work attire.

And this is Salina Moon sans any attire in the shower with Sid.

And this is Salina Moon in her pajamas.

Afterwards, she stays the night. He doesn't ask her to; she just does. I like how they're dreaming about one another.

I don't typically see this one.

How sweet...wait. Um. No, it's not that kind of letter!
I have no idea why she'd send a note like this. Was it that bad?

Sometimes, ya just gotta be a little goofy and do the smustle. Although, it kinda looks like it could be the chicken dance from this screenshot.

I hope this means no more sunken sims! And what a high number for a neighborhood that isn't really that old.

Cyber woohoo.
Then...

Wha? Not by my count. I'd been saving up so he could buy a hot tub. Then, I was going to make an igloo. Oh well. 40k LTR points. That really puts a huge dent into the honorary degree goal. He needs 6k more.

He'd cybered with Kerry Kasmir. Yay! I now have Kerry and Karen sorted out in my head. She's the other one from that day at the park when he sat at the picnic.
He decides he'd like to do more than cyber. He sends her a woohooty text. When she gets to his house, a pop-up comes up saying she doesn't want to use protection. That's fine. Neither does Sid!

Oh. I can tell, even though it's dark, that I'd finally put in some actual flooring in the entryway.
Hm, and I have written that she's dating Chad. Sid and Chad have become real good friends, even though one is the gigolo and the other the Casanova and I'd read that the two kind of compete.

Later, Sid gets hungry. Too bad the chairs don't face the other way. Dinner and a show.

Shower time. After this time, I think, every other time he tries to woohoo in the shower, he does the 'rude guest' thing unless he's asked them to stay the night.

Bah! I busted up the rule. I guess I hadn't decided to make it three visits at this point and instead doing three times. He gets Kerry preggers.

Sid throws another party.
Sid: Hello, ladies. Don't worry; there's plenty of me to go around.
(notice a couple in the background making use of Sid's bed while he isn't)

Salina doesn't like how the table is covered in plates. That's messy! So...she goes and sits... on the toilet. Sid does have two chairs in the living room, but apparently, the toilet makes a better place to eat.

He gets a trick or treater! Then, I see a sparkly 'poof'!

This guy appears!
Gnome: By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you... Wait. Wrong magic words.

Gnome: Let's see. It's right hand behind the back then tilt head down while raising left foot... No. That didn't work. Maybe it's right hand under the groin and .... OW!

Uhhhh... I think that's Mercedes whomping Darlene. No idea why. I didn't write anything down.
Oh, and that doll next to the haunted house is CREEPY! Why have I never noticed her before?

Meanwhile, Sid is flirting it up with Salina. Mercedes walks over. She flirts with him.

Then, because Mercedes flirted with him, that makes Sid the cheater.
What? You don't understand that logic? Okay, good. Neither do I.
I picture Sid saying something to the effect of 'but I'm dating lots of women!'

Whatever he says, it doesn't work.

Mercedes doesn't care.

Try for baby in the photo booth. Chimes.

Then, Sid has the gall to go and beg forgiveness.
She gives it to him.

Right after she does, Sid gets his eye on someone else.

Big Daddy 2: Epic fail

I've discovered that SP doesn't work like I want it to. If he pays child support, it's one payment; it doesn't multiply for multiple children and mothers. So, I'm going to have to adjust it for each time a child is born and keep up with how many are younger than YA. I feel sorry for any of the other sims in the 'hood that have to pay child support! Maybe with further study, I'll be able to figure out how to turn it off for them, but woe to any other sim who has to pay it until I do!

After Sid leaves for work, Mercedes wanders around his house in the nude for a good hour, getting a bite to eat, before she finally leaves. She does at least spin into some clothes before walking out the door.

When Sid gets off work, he wants to go to a dance club. The town doesn't really have one, and I don't want to change any of the other venues. So, I plop down The Grind.

Oh, remember that dude in the park when Sid first met Mercedes? Rick. He and Sid are enemies now that Sid's slept with her. I'm guessing Rick didn't care too much about her because I quickly get a notification that he's engaged to someone named Sadie Mason.

And Mercedes doesn't waste time either. This afternoon after leaving Sid's house, I got another notification that she's going steady with some dude named Darren Lott. The next notification tells me she moved in. They live in a nice house by the beach. Hm. Maybe it's that he moved in with her. Either way, yeah.

I'm trying to remember the woman in purple's name. She shows up again later a few times. The same goes for the woman in the blue dress.

The next day, Sid gets a promotion to lvl 2 with $24/hour. Better get those promotions going because the money will disappear fast when it starts disappearing. Speaking of... still no babies. Mercedes didn't get preggers.

Bored with The Grind, Sid goes to that Supernatural-esque bar. I need to put in real bars that will populate bar tenders in all these places, but I haven't yet.
Anyway, this woman is the town stylist. She offers him makeover. I think. Hm. Well, it might be that I was thinking that she's wearing stripes just a bit much to call that good fashion sense. I see I wrote her name down as Catherine Best.

I wrote this one's name down as Darlene Charles. She must get married eventually because her last name changes. She obviously marries well because she starts buying up the town. Anderson. That's her future last name.

Sid gets a raise to $27/hour.

I'm saving up points to get Sid the 'attractive' LTR, which will help him make friends at a stupidly-easy rate. That's the reason he hasn't landed anyone else. But... there's still Mercedes. 2nd visit.

He meets a couple of nice ladies at the park.

Party time! There's Sid making food because I forgot, yet again, that people bring food to these things.

Sid finally gets the 'attractive' LTR. The next thing I want is the honorary degree to get him the irresistible trait, which I should've given him to start with.

To have a good party, all one needs is a stereo, I've discovered. The ladies line up to dance with him.

Remember her from the park? Sid does. She's either engaged or married. Doesn't bother him.

Or her either, for that matter.
Ain't he cute? :)

Mercedes interrupts their dancing, staking her claim right in front of the other girl, whose name I think is Kerry (Karen?), but I might be switching her with someone else.

Mercedes suggestively goes to the bed. Sid goes back to flirting with what's-her-name until Mercedes calls for him. I'm counting this as the third visit. The Mercedes-induced woohoo is regular, but I remember him initiating some later that was risky right after the party ends.

Sid goes into the bedroom, and what's-her-name tries to flirt with Chad. Guess if she can't get any Casanova action, she'll get some gigolo kind. He doesn't look interested.

It was an epic party.

I'll go ahead and say that Mercedes is still not preggers, so it's also an epic fail. I start getting aggravated, and now is when I decide my little 3x rule.

2.10: Do I know you?

Natalie wanted to visit a pyramid, so I sent her to the one she hasn't done yet. Then, she wants to fully explore a tomb. I realize I've never done this pyramid before! yay!

No. No yay. This is, without a doubt, the lamest pyramid ever. There's almost nothing to it.

More tomb wishes. They do the copper quarry. In this pic, I'm showing that I could find no other dang way to get here. I even shift-clicked buy to see if there was something I missed. Nope. (I hate doing that btw. I'd rather discover everything on my own.)

Visa level 3!

I remember getting a notification that some stupidhead had drowned early on. Guess this was her. A few others in China also burned to death, starved, or drowned. smh.

She gets another wish to fully explore a tomb. Eventually, she does all of Queen Hatsheput's stuff and the stuff under the marketplace. Well, there's still one key to a storage room she never used, but yeah.

Then, bored, I send them home early even though they have like 6 days left. I want her to age up already and get to buying some vacation homes. I still have that China one saved. 12 more days to YA.

In taking goodies out of their inventories to clutter up their house like I do after every vacation, I find this in Bryce's inventory. He got it when he did his three year anniversary for his job. Huh. Never had this before.
But that's why I play!

Bryce gets an opportunity to become friends with Jesse.

I found you! He's visiting some dude.
Wow.
Jesse is old.
There should be a law against this.
He just looks so...un-Jesse!

Jesse: Do I know you?
Bryce: It's me. Bryce! Have you gone senile already?

Jesse: Have you lost your sense of humor already? I was kidding! And you fell for it!
Bryce doesn't think that was very funny.

Bryce: I'm here to patch things up between us. (thinking: Even if I still wanna boink your wife)
Jesse (seeing through Bryce's bullsh*t): So, how's your love life?

Bryce: I'm considering changing jobs in the future. I got some advice from another tourist in China that I should become a band director or orchestra conductor. She said guys like that are hot.
Jesse gives him a dubious look.

Bryce continues anyway: Yeah. She said that when they get up and do their thing (waves hands back and forth in an attempt to conduct) that they're really hot.

Jesse: Shouldn't you at least learn how to read music first? They're not just dots on a bunch of lines, you know.

Bryce: Nah. I don't need to read music. That's what YouTube is for. I'll just look it up and memorize how it goes.

Jesse: But not everyone on YouTube does it right. There are nuances in the score that tell you how it should go like dynamics. That can make or break you.

Bryce: Then maybe I'll switch to my idea and start a rock band.
Jesse wonders how long it'll take Bryce to realize that he'd still need to know how to read music.

And.... That's when I had to do Mommy stuff. My gameplay ends here. Strange place to end a chapter, but I wanted to get caught up on all my pictures.
