Boredom Buster 3k 2: Bumpin' in the Night

I decide to have Serena move out of her tiny house (that I never got a pic of) and go to university. I guess not much interesting happens because this is the first pic I have.

It's harvest festival day (whatever it's called).
Evil gnome murderers!!! One of her roommates gets zapped by an angry gnome. Those damn little turds also leave piles of trash everywhere.

The roommate dies even though Serena tries to save her, but the roommate still attends uni and stays at the dorm and everything--like she never died. Weird.

Serena: Oh, Nicholas!

Wait, what? Nicholas invited Serena over to his house, and they kept wanting to do more. Their romance meter is maxed out, but the friendship meter is still pretty low. Guess they don't care.

They do look rather pleased with themselves. They decide to make their relationship official.

I'd made Serena a biology major because I'd wanted to do some kind of gardener thing with her, so she has a major presentation to prepare.

While she's working on it, someone shows up to watch.
Nicholas: Hey, babe.
Serena jumps and screams because she'd thought the place would've been empty at 3am.

Serena: Oh it's you. What are you doing here?
Nicholas: I just got off work and thought I'd try to find you. What's this?
Serena: My crappy presentation, but I'm working on it.

They go and get something to eat, and then he goes home. She works more on her presentation, but she gets hungry again very quickly.

That's been happening a lot lately, along with having to use the potty more frequently. It's almost as if...

Well, sh*t.
I'd forgotten I had a risky woohoo thing installed on my laptop from the last thing I was doing on it.
NOW WHAT?

Serena: Now it's time for a cookie!

Sigh. I can't help but wonder how Nick will take this. I don't make myself wait long. Of course, in order to hold his attention, she has to meet him at the gym.

Serena: Nicholas! Guess what?
Nicholas looks at her belly: Hey, babe. Maybe you should come in and, um, work out some.
Serena: I'm not getting fat.

Serena: I'm getting pregnant! I mean, I am pregnant!
Nicholas: Uh, what? If you're pregnant, who's the father?

Really, Nick? Did you honestly just go there?

Serena gives him a look like she's thinking, 'All brawn and no brains.'

Serena: You are, you dolt.

Nick pauses as if in thought.

Wait for it...

Nicholas: Hey! I'm gonna be a daddy!

I am so sorry, Serena. It's a good thing he's good looking. Kinda reminds me of Mikey, but that really is a coincidence.

Nicholas: You know what this means, right?
Serena sighs dejectedly: What?

Nicholas: You should move in with me!
Serena, a little ticked: What?
Nicholas: Well, you can't stay at that dorm, can you?

Serena: And that's another thing. I have to put my education on hold thanks to this! It's hard enough to keep up with classes without being pregnant.
Nicholas: Relax, babe. You can pick it back up again later. You'll see. It'll be fine.

Will it?

Boredom Buster 3k 1: In the Beginning

Serena Burton. Today, she's at the gym just to get out of the house. This is her staring at the gym trainer.

No idea why.
Okay, well, maybe SOME idea.

Nicholas: Three times a week is recommended, but really, if you want, you could come here every day. (*smirk*)

Serena: Uh huh.

*whoosh!* That flew right over her head. Poor Nick's attempt at trying to start up a conversation fails miserably as she just stares at him.
Yet miraculously, the next day, he calls her and asks her out...
...to the dog park. Because, um, neither of them owns a dog! Or a cat. Or even a hamster. So, they just stand outside the gate and talk.

Nicholas (who still cuts a fine figure even when he's wearing more clothing): Thanks for agreeing to meet me here today. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe yesterday you were intimidated.

Serena (giggles): Oh, no. I just liked watching you run.
Nicholas: Really? I wasn't boring you by talking non-stop about the gym?
Serena: Nope.

That makes him happy, so he gives her some huggies.

Nicholas: I must say, it felt nice to have someone as beautiful as you are watching me run.
Serena: You didn't find it odd?

Nicholas: No, I found it rather hawt. What would you say to--?

An alarm goes off on his phone.

Nicholas: Ack! It's time to go to the gym! I must leave you now.

He kisses her hand and runs off.

WELL! Well I never! This almost reminds me of the fireman career in s3 where they'd run off all the plumbing time.

Will this relationship last, or is it doomed from the start?

-----------------------------------------------
Just a little note: Ever since the Alexander Goth and Malcolm Landgraab hostile takeovers, I always try to start with an empty 'hood, so almost all the sims shown are game-created (with some possible editing). When too-familiar sims show up (like when I put university on my laptop), I do my best to delete them as quickly as possible.
Also, I kept this chapter short. Not sure if they'll all be this length but there ya go.

2.17: The sky is falling!

So, when we left off, Liam had accused Natalie of cheating.

I think they're better now.
I've gotta fix Liam's workout attire.
I've gotta fix this house. They have no kitchen.

Fixed that. I turned that bedroom into part of the main room. Looking at this, I wonder where the front door went. I see the back one, but where is the front one?

Natalie's next quest has her ... is forcing her to get to lvl 10 in martial arts and then break a space rock. So, she spends most of the next 15 or so days doing this.

Then something weird happens...
Liam: Someone drew a sloppy mess on this pic.

No, that's not what I'm talking about here.

That's what I'm talking about. A meteor! In all my S3 playing days, this is only the 2nd time this has happened to me.

Oh. The front door is there. Good.
And bad. The meteor landing caused fires to break out. Knowing how long it took the cop to get here when the house was being robbed, I knew waiting on the fire department was going to be a bad idea.

So I have them get to work putting them out.

I miss Jesse. He could put them out with his stick.

Things we lost in the fire. (That movie made me cry.)
Anyway, easily replaced for the tons of money they have.

After much boring gameplay, Natalie gets lvl 10 martial arts. Now all there is left to do is break the space rock.

Not that one, though!
I think I'll leave that there just to see if it'll stay there. As in, not de-spawn.

FINALLY!!! I can do the other dungeon in the Dragon Cave.

Then they successfully both catch themselves on fire. I was following what the statues said!

When they get back home, Marie and Kristoffer have their brat. Anton.

I'm sick of waiting. Natalie has 285k total wish points. I think I deserve another free day. I'm thinking that since Nat is so close to finishing her LTW, it's time for babies.

Liam likes that idea.

2.16: I'm distracted

Soooo.... Turns out dear Liam has a kid with Kara Seal, a son named... something or other that I forgot to write down. Pooh. I'll just call him Pooh for now.

Liam is almost MA, but I stretch that out with long vacations in the meantime. Well, I don't want you to jump ahead too much.

And back to his brother Kristoffer for a moment: Marie, his lady, his suga-mama, is pregnant. I don't know if she's older than him, but she looks it.

I would post a pic of her, but I don't want that to be the first pic of the chapter.

So, there. That can be the first pic of the chapter. Liam helping out in... I think France.

Back to Marie.

Yeah. She looks old. Maybe the red skin is throwing me. I think if I ever move Nat or her offspring to another hood, I'll rainbow the residents. And Dragon Valley's weather is getting on my everlasting nerves.

This picture is of her holding the newborn baby--that I just told you about. So, this is a picture of her in the future. We'll get there eventually.

Back to Liam.

France. I went to France accidentally. Or, well, they went to France accidentally. They were supposed to go to China, but I think I was distracted. I forgot to check to make sure I had the correct dodah selected and had the Eiffel Tower one clicked on.

Townies making it in the public tent. I love woohooer mod.

Back to the dungeon.
WTF?!
Screw it. I'm activating ALL the switches. Only one does it, but I won't tell you which one. I wanted to make sure none of the others do anything. They don't. Just one.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
The house is going to crap. And they're letting it.

Yep. They don't care. They just wanna dance. I bought them a "radio" so they could dance.

This is not a picture of them dancing. Nope. Not at all.
This is a picture of the security system on the wall over there. I fooled you. That's the real focus here.
You just thought this was a picture of them dancing. Don't take things at face value.

I've taken way too many artsy film classes.

Yeah, yeah. I'll bet you're thinking this is a picture showcasing the painting behind Liam. Or the window. Or the stairs. Wrong again.

This is a picture of them dancing. With beautiful, flat, daytime lighting. Yes, daytime lighting which adds absolutely no depth. The chair in the background may as well be smacked right on top of them. It's almost cubist with the lighting concept. In that way, it's good. Otherwise, I hate flat lighting.

This is after I screwed around with it in Photoshop. Badly screwed around with it. I'm distracted watching Scott Pilgrim versus The World.

Whoa! Yet ANOTHER place at the old Stonehenge-type ruins that she hasn't explored.

Basically, France was a bunch of junk. Liam worked on his alchemy. Oh, forgot to mention he has the LTW of lvl 10 alchemy. He has yet to roll for the wish of the career in it. He rolls for every other career under the sun, but no professional alchemist at all.

When they get back to DV, Liam doesn't think the cab is good enough for him. So, he randomly runs in a straight line, hills and ocean mean nothing to him.

Liam can fly!

Natalie isn't impressed. She can fly too.

Liam accuses Natalie of cheating. I can't prevent it.
He says he's not interested in fixing the relationship.

Well, Pooh.
